ILLEGAL PUBLICATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Two charges of having published totalisator dividends were admitted by Sam Nelson at the Police Court to-day. Th« charges related to races at Wellington anti Paeroa respectively. Chief Detective Me Ilveney said defendant was a bookmaker', agent, and he received information as t« dividends by wire, and published them tc bookmakers at Auckland, Hamilton anc Frankton Junction. He lived by this” means. Defendant bad nothing to say, and was fined £2O on each charge. He was allowed a month to pay.
