EVERYBODY’S. LAST NTOHT OF “THE SILVER CAR.” “The Silver Car,” which concludes tonight at Everybody’s, is a film version of Wyndham Martyn’s famous novel entitled “The Secret of the Silver Car.” Kathlyn Adams appears opposite Earle Williams in the production. She is said, to be especially fitted for the part in this picture because of her stately blonde beauty of the British type. The heroine is an unusual girl,- daughter of the Earl of Rosecarrel, and Miss Adams typifies her to the complete satisfaction of the author himself. Thi« picture is one of the most fascinating mystery dramas tnat has ever been presented on the screen. The bill includes gazette, comedy and travel films. To-morrow’s change presents Lionel Barrymore in the First National drama “The Master Mind,” Daniel G. Carter’s famous stage success, described as a peerless psychic drama of the 'battle of love and hate
THE PEOPLE’S.MABEL NORMAND IN “THE SLIM PRINCESS.” To-night’s bill presents the popular comedienne, Mabel Normand, in Goldwyn’s new comedy-drama “The Slim Princess.” which centres around the figure of a Morovenian Princess, who, because of her daintiness and slim, supple figure is considered uneligible for marriage. In the Morovenian city only young ladies whose graceful proportions bring the scales up to> three hundred pounds are considered beautiful (in the extrieme). Therefore, the poor slim princess (Mab?l Normand) stands very little Chance of realising the happy state of matrimony. The slim princess dons a rubber suit, and has it blown up until she assumes the proportions of her countrywomen. But, unfortunately, a piece of wicker in the chair on which she sits punctured the rubber, and the poor princess, glued to the spot with shame and fright, grew thinner and thinner, and her late admirers watched in startled disappointment. This is a comedy-drama with a decided kick, and is altogether a most enjoyable production.
