The Prince arrived at Knalalumpur after motoring through thirty miles of rubber plantations. The people turn- . ed out in the blistering heat for nianv miles. Numbers of soldiers who fought with the Prince in France were also present. The procession, headed by the Prince, was cheered by the populace. Indians predominated for the first part of the journey, then Chinese, who, clothed in expensive silks, eat in the road bowing politely as the car parsed.
