SIAMESE TWINS.
ONE VERGING ON DEATH. PROPOSED OPERATION. TO SAVE THE OTHER By Telegraph.—Press Asen.—Copyright. Received March 29, 10.15 p.m. . New York, March 28. A remarkable surgical case has been disclosed at Chicago, in connection with the Siamese twins, Rose and Josefa Blazek, who are forty-two years old. Both are ill, Josefa being on the verge of death from jaundice. Physicians say the death of one will cause the death of the other, and surgeons propose to form a severance operation in an attempt to save Rose immediately upon Josefa’s death.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
