At Westfield, in beef, there was a falling-off in the demand and values were easier, especially for cow beef: Extra choice ox to £1 2s per 100 lb., choice and prime 18s to £1 Is, ordinary and plain 15s to 17s 6d; prime young cow and heifer beef 15s to £l, ordinary cow 12s to 14s, rough beef 5s to 10s. ' Extra heavy prime steers £9 10s to £lO, heavy prime £7 10s to £9, lighter prime £6 to £7 ss, light and unfinished £3 to £5 15s. Heavy prime young cows and heifers £4 10s to £5 15s, lighter £3 15s to £4 ss, light £2 to £3 10s, aged cows £1 10s to £2, Sheep.—A heavy yarding, including many prime. There was a keen demand and a further advance for all classes. Extra heavy prime wethers £1 5e 6d to £1 7s, extra special 27s 6d to 34s 6d (119 averaging 31s), heavy prime wethers 22s 6d to 255, medium to heavy 19s to 225. Lambs.—A full yarding and a ready sale. Best heavy prime 23s to 255, lighter 19s to 225. Calves (were in large numbers, the demand and values being on a par with last week: Runners 45s to 675, heavy vealew 40s to 635, medium 33s to 445. Pigs.—-A steady sale, values being firm at previous quotations: Choppers 30s to 58s, heavy baconers 73s to 82s, medium 62s to 70s, heavy porkers and light baconers 57s to 645, light to medium porkers 42s to 565.
