CALENDAR THAT Bi jGS OF COMING REVENGE. A calendar seized by the Allied military authorities in the occupied territory and sold in great quantities throughout Germany contains the following inscriptions:— “A deep sorrow must torture every German as long as we have not driven the enemy from the country.” “Let us watch, and our Eastern provinces will again become German.” “Let us not rest until the territory which has been stolen from us again becomes ours.” “Houses of Alsace, hearths of Alsace, you will again become German by the German sword.” ,“Hate will overthrow mountains; German people, learn to hate.” "We await the propitious hour when the sound of the bells will call us up again to demand from the enemy our lost territories and to avenge our ruined happiness.” Hindenburg, Scheer, and Tirpitz are among ;the contributors of inscriptions.
