BOTTOMLEY’S LOSSES. By Telegraph.— Assn. —Copyright. Received March 24, 8.40 p.m. London, March 23. During the evidence in connection with the Deutschland purchase, Horatio Bottomley declared that when the vessel crossed the Atlantic she was laden with torpedoes. Bottomley alleged that he incurred a loss in exhibiting the vessel to the public; also by being sued for compensation by the dependents of victims killed aboard the vessel when she was being broken up.—Aus.-N.Z.
