TIMARU HARBOR BOARD.
SUCCESSFUL FINANCIAL YEAR. By Tellgraph.— Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Harbor Board, the chairman stated he had paid Of the debit at the beginning of the year, had met all expenses, ano had started the current year with a clean sheet, there being no antecedent liability to wipe off. Referring to the board’s housing scheme for employees (eight had been built), the chairman said it was generally admitted that their scheme was the best in the Dominion. Apparently the houses had cost from £250 to £3OO less than in other centres.
