SURPLUS WOOL PROFITS.
■ QUESTION OF INFORMATION. PREMIER EXPLAINS POSITION. By Telegraph.—Press Aasociatlon. Wellington, Last Night. The statements made at a meeting of the Dominion executive of the Farmers’ Union in reference to surplus wool profits were brought under the notice of the Prime Minister to-day. Mr. Massey stated that the whole of the information relating to the sale ot wool and its subsequent disposal had been compiled, and was now only awaiting his final revision. He had stated his willingness to allow responsible persons who were interested to peruse the papers, and some had taken advantage of this. Mr. Massey added that the whole report was a lengthy document, and il would be impossible to give the information it contained in a brief newspaper review. It had not yet been decided how it should be published; probably it would have to be printed, in pamphlet unless it were kept till Parliament met and laid on the table of the House as a Parliamentary paper.
