WESTFIELD MARKET PRICES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Niglit. At Westfield there was a heavy yarding of beef, and prices showec! little change from last week, with the exception of light prime ox and heifer, whieh was more keenly sought after. Light prime ox and heifer to 22s per lOOlbs., prime ox 18s to 20s, plain 16s to 17s: prime cow 16s to 17s, rough down to 10s. In sheep there was a full yarding, prices being fully 2s up on late rates. Prime wethers to 24s 3d; no extra prime; forward medium 17s !>d to 21s, unfinished 16s to 17s; extra prime ewes to 19s, prime 16s 6d to 18s, medium 15s to 16s 3d, light down to 10s od. In calves there was a very heavy yarding, prices being equal to late rates. Best vealers to> £3 ,Is, ordinary 30s to £-2, smaller down to 20s, fresh dropped 5s Bd. Pigs.—A full yarding, competition being keen, resulting in an advance on late rates. Choppers, £3 5s to £4 ss; heavy baconers, £3 to £4; light, £2 10s to £5; porkers, £2 to £2 15s. Lambs. —A moderate yarding. Prices improved. Best prime, to 245; prime, 18s to 225; light, 14s to 17s; other?, down to 10s.
