Whilst Mr. Downie Stewart’s tariff proposals have not been disclosed it is understood that he has submitted a schedule of articles on which preference should be given. The Federal .Cabinet is shortly considering trade relationship between Ireland and Australia. As part of the United Kingdom Ireland is included in the British preferential tariff, which continues pending the arrangement of a reciprocal agreement on the election of the Irish Parliament.
