A WARNING.
AGAINST COLLECTORS OF FUNIIS. -—-V 1 FOR DISABLED SOLDIERS. By Telegraph.—Pres? Association. Wellington, Last Night. It lias been brought to the notice of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers* Association that certain persons in different parts of the Dominion have been collecting money from the public upon the representation that the sums collected will be need in aid of disabled soldiers. In some eases small books of poems have been sold, and it has been represented that the proceeds were to go in aid of disabled soldira. The Returned Soldiers* Association states that such persons have no authority from the R.S.A. to obtain money, and the association has no knowledge whether the moneys collected are usod for tbe objects for which they have professedly been obtained. The association knows of no body which collects funds in this way, and the public are warned against giving money to any persons unless their credentials are beyond question.
