WIRELESS TELEPHONE By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Suva, March 16. The wireless station on Wednesday night heard distinctly a telephone radio from Melbourne. SYDNEY PLAGUE CASES. Sydney, March 17. The latest plague patients are out of danger. The cases were slight. QUEENSLAND WHEAT EXPORTED. Brisbane, March 17. In consequence of failure to reach a satisfactory arrangement with the millers, the Queensland Wheat Board is shipping a large quantity of wheat to London, 12.000 tons leaving within a few weeks. THE ROSS APPEAL. Received March 17, 1.35 a.m. Melbourne, March 16. The Ross appeal case was resumed. Counsel for Ross told the court it was alleged that the witness Ivy Matthews had helped the police to work up the Crown case against prisoner.
