The American and Canadian immigration officials are detaining Semenoff, who is en route to Washington and Paris. If refused admission to the United States he will possibly not be allowed to enter Canada. Received March 16, 8.45 p.m. Vancouver, March 15. Semenoff has been permitted to enter Canada, and there awaits the decision of the United States.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
