THE ELTHAM CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Eltham Golf Club on Wednesday officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: Patron, Mr. O. J. Hawken, M.P.; president, Mr. H. D. Forsyth; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. J. T. Quin. F. Quin, C. J. Bellringer, and G. W. Tayler; captain, Mr. A. A. Stewart; vice-captain, Mr. J. Quin; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. D. Ross; committee, Messrs. F. Quin, J. L. Campbell, J. W. Harrison, and H. G. McDonald; green committee, Messrs. Campbell. Harrison, Ross and J. L. Quin; match handicap committee, Messrs. Ross, J. Quin and Stewart; ladies’ committee. Misses Quin, Wilson, Wanklyn and Whiting. The fiving of the opening day of the season, which will probably be Thursday, April 6, was left in the hands of the green committee. HAWERA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Hawera Club was held on Wednesday. Officers were elected as -follows: Patron, Mr. C. Tonks; president. G. H. Ryan; vicepresident. H. S. Elliott; captain, F. W. Sutton; secretary, N. H. C. Caplen; auditor, C. H. Suisted; committee, Messrs. O’Callaghan, Bayley, Cox, Fletcher, and Duffill; match and handicap committee, Messrs. Ryan, Sutton, and Elliott; green committee, F. W. Sutton.
