BET WITH INFANT.
r £so FINE INFLICTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day Walter Preston was fined £5O for betting with an infant. A lad of 17 years and 10 months gave evidence of having betted with accused outside the Takapuna course on January 30. He previously had bets with accused. Preston’s record showed 28 previous convictions, including betting, playing two-up and offer offences relating ta gambling.
