ENTERTAINMENTS.

“QP’s” QUALITY PERFORMERS. BOX PLAN OPENS THIS MORNING The appearance of the “QP’s” (Quality Performers) at the Empire Theatre on Saturday next, under the direction of Southwood’s Ideal Attractions, Ltd., is justifiably arousing keen anticipation of a very pleasant entertainment. The ‘QP’s” are a group of seventeen versatile English performers whose skill and artistry is of a very high standard. The programme to be presented is a London costume comedy extravaganza success entitled “A Harvest of Humor and Harmony.” Foremost among the vocalists is Mr. Aneurin J. Morris, the Welsh-Australian lyric tenor, whose voice is said to possess the sweetness for which the Welsh are renowned. Miss Hazel Fuller (soprano) is a New Zealand girl who returns after an absence of two years an accomplished singer. There is no lack of good healthy humor, an element provided by three comedians, Messrs. Sharratt, Webster, and Nelson, all in the front rank as performers. Mr. Leonard Nelson holds the unique record of having appeared for twelve years without any break in an engagement under the one theatrical firm. For an artist to hold such a record speaks volumes for his ! popularity. It is said to be the longest engagement known in theatrical history. Mr. Nelson states that he accomplished it by always giving the public new songs, and he claims as a result to have the greatest repertoire of songs in the world. Special features are the ensemble numbers, the jazz band, and the elaborate manner of the production. A great deal of the success of the Quality Performers is attributable to the orchestra under the direction of Signor Phil Asioli, the great Italian violinist. One of the numbers in the first revue is a brilliant Verdi Operatic burlesque. The treatment of this offering is unique, and expense has not been spared to give justice to its possibilities. There will be a new extravaganza presented on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Popular prices of admission are being charged. By advertisement elsewhere the public are notified that the box plan opens at Collier’s this morning.

EVERYBODY’S. A BIG DOUBLE BILL. To-night’s change at Everybody’s presents a big double feature bill headed by the six-reel Lewis production. “Sherry,” featuring Pat O’Malley, the dare-devil reporter of “Go and Get It.” The Universal feature in support is “Thunder Island,” featuring charm-

ing Edith Roberts. It is a stirring tale of the adventures of a little white tigress in the South Sea Islands. THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF “THE PRIMAL LAW.” “The Primal Law,” the Fox photoplay in which Dustin Farnum and his excellent support have been delighting audiences at the People’s Theatre, will be shown for the last time to-night. A big Sunshine comedy and Fox Gazettes are also on the bill. ( To-morrow’s change presents an eminent author's production, “Opt of the Storm,” featuring Barbara Castleton, being adapted from “The Tower of Ivory,” by Gertrude Atherton.
