DANGER OF EXPLOSIVES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 13, 9.50 p.m. Sydney, March 13. At an inquest on the victims of the Goulbum quarry accident the coroner found that they died from, nitro-benzine poisoning, due to inhaling fumes given off during the charging of tha tunnel with lithite and rendrock saturated with nitrobenzine oil. The coroner added a rider that the use of such explosives underground should be prohibited or regulated.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
