THE WELLINGTON SALES. By Tsleffraph -Pr*” Ax-tcrintion. Wellington, Last Night. Tn connection with the Wellington wool sale on February 17 it has been found necessary to grant the maximum extension of “prompt” owing to shipping facilities being unavailable. The extension terminates on March 17 (St. Patricks Day), and this being a bank holiday the actual “prompt” will be on Saturday, the 18th instant. The next wool sale in Wellington has been definitely set down for April 4,, and the catalogues close on Friday, March 31. It is anticipated that from 10,000 to 15,000 bales will be catalogue !. This will be the cleaning-up sale for Wellington.
