FINAL STAGE MARRED. * By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, March 10. The last stage .of the Prince’s visit Avas marred by the usual manifestations of hostility by adherents of Gandhi. The hartal, which was proclaimed at Rawal Pindi yesterday, to extend over three daj’6, became general in the Indian quarter to-day. The shops were closed and wheeled transport was materially reduced by a strike of taxi drivers. Gandhi agents endeavored to pre-vent the inhabitants from in any way participate ing in the welcome. A numbr of ringleaders were arrested. The Prine* is staying in a house which is well removed from the disaffected area. He reviewed the troops of the garrison during the. morning in the largest and best display of British and Indian units' 1 witnessed during the war.
