The Kahika arrived from Wellington with cargo from southern ports yesterday morning. After discharging she leaves for Nelson, Wellington and Dunedin. KAI ORA TO SAIL The liner Kia Ora, which has been in port nearly a week loading produce for Home ports. Is expected to sail for Wanganui roadstead to-morrow. THE WAIOTAPU. The Waiotapu, due here later in the week, has 5000 cases of benzine and 74,000 feet of timber for New Plymouth. THE RARAWA. • The Rarawa Is expected from Onehunga with cargo and passengers to-morrow morning and sails on the return voyage at 8.30 tomorrow night. THE STRANDED VALMARIE. A Wellington telegraun says that owing to heavy surf in the vicinity of the stranded schooner Valmarie, the scow Kohi, which attempted ’o salvage her timber and cargo, was unable to get within a mile of the beach on Thursday and therefore the project of the salvage of the cargo was abandoned.
