BALTIC ICE-BOUND.
AIRMEN SURVEY FTEL~>. STREAMERS RESCUED. London, Feb. 16. A message from Stockholm states that navigation of the Kattegat is most I difficult, owing to drifting icebergs. Gothenburg is completely shut off. The Swedish Lloyd steamer Ihule, from London, with 27 passengers, and four other steamers are wedged in the ice and their screws are jammed. Ott Viuga Lighthouse the position is dangerous to navigation, and the Sound is impassable. j . Thus the Baltic has been converted into an isolated bay. The ports of East Sweden are inaccessible, except StocKholm and Norrkoeping, where ice-break-ers are cutting a passage. A later message from Stockholm states that an ice-breaker has released 1 the steamer Thule and the four other steamers wedged in the Baltic Sea. A passage to Gothenburg has been cut and the Government is employing aeroIjdauea to reconnoitre jthe icefield.
