THEFTS AT A FIRE.

TWO MEN SUSPECTED. By Telegraph.- -Press Assn.—Copyrirtt. Nelson, March 9. Following a fire at Louisson’e, Ltd., on Monday morning, it was reported to the police that some sealskin coats had been stolen. Some of the missing goods were found in an outhouse at the Masonic Hotel. Further search arid observation by the police resulted in the discovery of other coats, also a clue which led to the arrest of Wm. Balfour Hay, aged 22, cook at the Masonic Hotel, as he was leaving for VVlellington last night. Later they arrested Ernest Wairau Broad, aged 17, kitchenman, on a charge of being implicated in the theft. Accused were remanded to Monday next.
