RECOGNITION BY CANADA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received March 9, 10.50 p.m. Ottawa, March 9. It is announced that Canada will officially recognise Ireland as a sister State in the British Commonwealth of Nations on April 1. The Department of Customs has issued circulars to the department officials stating that Ireland will be designated as a separate State on all entries of imports and exports, beginning with April.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. THE BILL PASSED. TROUBLE AT LIMERICK. London, March 8. In the House of Commons the Free State Bill was read a third time by 295 votes to 52. A thousand I.R.A. troops have arrived in Limerick, and considerably outnumber the armed Republicans, who are holding several buildings.
