POULTRYMEN’S CONFERENCE

EGG CIRCLES’ STATUS. ONE BIG BODY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, March 9. The poultrymen’s conference adjourned this morning to go into the question of the relations and status of affiliated egg circles and the poultry association. A committee was set up representative of the egg circles and branches of the association. The matter, involving the question of one big association instead of individual bodies, was discussed in camera. On resuming, the president announced that the solution of the problem suggested, that the Egg Circle remain and be affiliated with the association, was defeated. The committee had decided on one big body, the executive to be elected as formerly. Th committee’s decision was supported by the conference, which proceeded to revise the rules. The headquarters of the association were fixed at Wellington.
