COALITION RETAIN SEAT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 8, 8.40 p.m. London, March 8. The Wolverhampton by-election vice Sir A. F. Bird, deceased, resulted in the return of Sir Robert Bird (Coalitionist) with 16,790 votes. Mr. A. G. Walkden (Laborite) received 13,799 votes. —Aus.N.Z Cable Assn. [Sir A. F. Bird -was a CoalitionUnionist and at the general elections he defeated Mr. Walkden by 13,329 votes to 10,258.]
