Thirteen victims of the Port Tipton explosion, in which tons of cartridges exploded in a factory full of girls, are dead and several others are in a precarious condition. All are in their teens and some had just left school. Practically the only method of identifying the injured is by the voice, as the faces are so distorted and 'burned.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Received March 8, 7.35 p.m. London, March 7. The deaths in connection with the Port Lipton explosion now number thirteen, all young girls.
