Hunt’s appointment to the Meat Pool x>oard migbt be construed into an advantage to Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., of which lie is managing director, an answer is now made that only three nominations were received for the position of the stock and station agents’ representative on the board, and Mr. Hunt cotes from all. including big concerns, excepting three. The Government requested further nominations, and the agents definitely declined to accede to the suggestion.
