CITY OF CORINTH SAILS. . I After being two wdeks in port unloading Welsh coal, the City of Corinth sailed about 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon for Newcastle. KIA ORA ALONGSIDE. The liner Kia Ora, which, had oeen an- ; chored in the stream since 10 a.m. on Monday, took the deep water berth vacated by the City of Corinth when that vessel sailed at 5 pjm. yesterday. Captain Waller boarded her at 5.10 p.m. and had the vessel alongside at 5.45 p.m. The Kia Ora was drawing 14ft. Tin. forward and 21ft. lin. aft. The vessel is the fifty-fifth liner to berth 1 at Now Plymouth, and this is the fourth time she has called here. Her tonnage is 8030 tons. Captain Jones, 0.R.E.. Is in command, and has with him the following officers: O. , Davies, chief officer; G. Martin, second; A. J. D. McArthur, third; T. E. Turner and W. J. Tripps, cadets; S. Harvey, chief engineer; J. D. Doe, second; D. Anderson, third; G. Mitchell, fourth; G. Hardy, fifth; P. Hobbs, sixth ; G. Cramp, seventh; D. McDougall, chief refrigerating engineer; W. Sanders, second; C. V. Saunders, Marconi operator; F. Sainsbury, purser; and H. Roberts, chief steward. RARAWA ARRIVES LATE. I Owing to being unable to cross the ManuI kau bar till 6 o’clock yesterday morning, the I Rarawa did not arrive at New Plymouth till I 5.30 p.m., and sailed at 9.30 on the return I trip. CORINNA TO-MORROW. I The Corinna is scheduled to leave OneI hunga to-day for New Plymouth, Nelson and I Wellington. At New Plymouth the vessel will I load 3000 crates of cheese and 1000 boxes I of butter for transhipment to the Somerset I at .Veilington and all southern cargo. The I Corinna will sail south on Friday. VESSEL'S STORMY VOYAGE. I A Press Association message frown Auckland I states that the Hatarana, which arrived on I Monday from Cardiff, experienced heavy I weather early in the voyage, and considerable damage was done to the deck.
