If you feel a thickening of the throat with hoarseness coming on, take five or six drops of Nazol on loaf sugar every hour. Allow the sugar to dissolve very slowly by placing it between the cheek and gums. At night rub a few drops of Nazol round the throat and neck—and cover with flannel or silk handkerchief. By doing this you will obtain immediate relief. If you have a bitter taste in your mouth, accompanied with flatulence, a wineglassful of Sharland’s Magnesia will give relief. It soothes and corrects the derangements of the stomach.
