ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
fatal gun accident. By Telegraph— Press Association Invercargill, March 6. Victor Butler, aged* 25, was fatally shot, while climbing into a gig, by the accidental discharge of a gun. Deceased was a well-known boxer and leaves a widow and child. CYCLING INJURIES. Christchurch, March 6. Two cycling accidents occurred today. M'Pherson, while riding a motorcycle, collided with a telegraph post and was removed to hospital suffering from severe injuries to the head. C. E. Hales, while riding a push bicycle, collided with another cyclist and was thrown from his bicycle, and while on the ground was run over by a motor-van. He was removed to the hospital and found to be, suffering from internal injuries and a fractured leg.
