BANK OF AUSTRALASIA. By Talefftaph.—-Frew Assn —Copyrlrkt. London. March 2. The dividend of the Bank of Australasia for the year was 10 per cent, with a bonus of 3 per cent, tax free. The sum of £lOO,OOO was placed to reserve, £25,000 put to the premises account, and £121,763 carried forLONDON MARKETS. Messrs. Dalgety and Company report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date March' 2: — “Quotation New Zealand crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy, lOd, light lid. North Island heavy lOd, light 10%d; demand, for New 'Zealand lamb runs principally on finest qualities, market weak. Quotation New Zealand price crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy 6%d, light 7%d; North Island, heavy 6d, light 7d; demand .for New Zealand mutton fair, market weak. Quotation New Zealand prime .ox beef, hinds 4d, fores 3%, prices nominal; demand for New Zealand beef is nil. Quotation g.a.q. crossbred lamb, Australian, heavy 9d. light lOd; mutton, heavy 5%d, light Id; demand for Australian lamb, limited; mutton poor; new season’s North Island lamb, lid
