There has been another death from the mysterious “X” disease at Renmark Hospital, making eleven out of fourteen patients. ECONOMIC CONFERENCE ENDS. Sydney, March 3. The Economic Conference ended abortively. Mr. Brooks further stated that the employers declined to associate themselves’ with any proposals such as Labor submitted. JAPANESE SHAVING BRUSHES. Melbourne, March 4. In consequence of the Japanese Government undertaking completely to sterilise the bristles used in shaving 'brushes, the Commonwealth Government has removed the embargo prohibiting the importation of brushes.
