M.P. BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL. THE ANNUAL SPORTS. CHAMPIONSHIPS TO-NIGHT. The annual swimming sports in connection with the New Plymouth Boys’ High School, which had to be postponed on Thursday on account of the rain, were held at the Municipal Baths yesterday, under splendid weather conditions, the sun shining brightly and the water being pleasantly warm. The programme was kept well up to schedule time throughout the day, and the general arrangements for the sports reflected great credit on those responsible. lu the afternoon there was a fair attendance of onlookers, mostly parents, friends and did boys of the school. The officials were: Starter, Mr. W. H. Moyes; marksmen, Messrs. G. F. Bertrand and F. J. Eggleton; call steward, Mr. A. Papps; judges, Messrs. R. H. Rockel, C. G. Bottrill and G. 11. Pope; official recorder, Mr. A. W. Diprose; finals, Messrs. J. W. Donnell, W. G. Wilkie and Dobson; judge of diving, Mr. P. Mathieson; time-keepers, Messrs. J. Bennett, junr., N. Greiner and V.
