AUCKLAND SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association.* Auckland, March 3. • In the Supreme Court, Charles Stewart Christie was found guilty of carnally knowing a girl between 12 and ]3, and was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment. The case had already been before the Appeal Court. His Honor refused an application for a new trial on the ground that the verdict was against the weight of evidence.
