GREEK FINANCE.
LOAN PROPOSAL DROPPED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Feb. 27. The proposal to grant Greece facilities to raise money in London, which aroused indignation among Moslems in India and elsewhere, who considered such assistance would help Greece in her war against Turkey, appears to have been abandoned. An announcement was made in the House of Commons that the Greek Government’s application for a loan had heen withdrawn.
