INCREASE IN BIRTHS. The predominant feature of the vital statistics -jn the New Plymouth district for the month of February is the large increase in births registered, as compared with February of last year. Deaths show an increase of 5 and marriages an increase of 4 on the same comparison. Following are comparative figures:—
