YOUTHFUL GAMBLER.
ADMISSION OF THEFT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day a youth of 18 pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence for the theft of £54 19s lOd from a legal firm by whom he was employed. In a statement he said he had been betting. The evidence showed he obtained from the cashier monies fqr stamping and fees in excess of the actual amount required. It was ordered that his name should not be published.
