PARADISE AHEAD.

INDUSTRIAL SITUATION. L0 M 'l ROAD TO TRAVEL. CAPITAL AND LABOR. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 27, 10.55 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 27. The economic conference resumed today. Mr. Brooks, for the Employers’ Federation, suggested a general discussion on the economic and industrial situation in Australia, with an adjournment to permit each side to submit proposals in writing, which would then become the subject for discussion. Mr. Garden, of the Trades and Labor Council, speaking in reply, said he believed there was paradise ahead for workers, but there was a long and bloody road to travel before they got there. The solution of the present economic trouble rested with those who controlled the means of industry. The conference adjourned till to-mor-row.
