IRISH OLYMPIC GAMES. By Tel^fraph.—Pre*s Awn —CnnvHelit. London, Feb. 25. The Tailtean Games, otherwise the Irish Olympic Games, will be held in Dublin on August 7. Each country has been invited to send a minimum team of 45. The Gaelic Athletic Association, in announcing the fixture, claims that the world has hitherto been ignorant of Irish prowess, which has been obscured under foreign flags. The Irish will now appear in the limelight, demonstrating their physical superiority over all men. SPRINGBOKS AND RELAY RACE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 27. The Springboks wanted to run the relay race over again to-day, but the New Zealand officials said it was the fortune of war, and would not accept the offer.
