MEAT STRIKE ENDED. By Talecrapb —-Press Assn —Copyright. Melbourne, Feb. 24. The meat strike has ended, all hands returning to their former positions. Tbere will be no discrimination against union drovers, and no victimisation. A VALUABLE SITE. Sydney, Feb. 24. A public meeting at the Town Hall passed a resolution that the Commonwealth be requested to resume the site of the Pastoralists’ Finance Association, to prevent other buildings replacing that destroyed by fire. THE HEALTH OF SYDNEY. Sydney, Feb. 24. The City Health Officer has reported that Sydney has seldom been so healthy as during the past five months. Both the death-rate and infantile mortality show remarkable reductions.
