SOUTHERN MARKETS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Wheat has been coming in fairly steadily during the week and many of the samples are of quite satisfactory quality. Oats have steadied, but there is little alteration in price, A grade Gartons being quoted at 2/3 to 2/6 and Algerians 1/10 to 2/2. So far the offerings of oats are small. There is no change to report in the potato market. Rye grass is not coming on to the market;’ in fact all lines of seeds remain steady at late rates. AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET. Auckland, Last Night. Sales on the stock exchange to-day were: Soldiers’ bonds £94 10s; New Zealand inscribed stock. 1938, £9O; South British 33/3; Auckland Gas 20s 9d; Auckland trams 16/-; Waihi 18/6; Grand Junction 6/4. ANTWERP WOOL SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Aesn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 24, 8.5 p.m. Antwerp, Feb. 23. At the wool sale there was a big attendance. Higher grades were five per cent, down and inferior and crossbreds were five per cent, below the last London sale.
