WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Welling! on, Last Night. The following weather forecast was issued to-day: “Present indications are for high and squally easterlies northwards of New Plymouth and Ntpier, and moderate but increasing wlads between north-east and south-east elsewhere. A continuance of unsettled and cloudy weather may be expected, with rain generally and heavy rain with rivers rising shortly in the northern and east coast portions of the North Island. An extensive depression has been in evidence northwards v.f New Zealand during the past three days, and the barometer is lilfely to fall further, particularly in the north."
