Wanganui trots were poorly attended on Wednesday, but the racing was, on the whole, keen and interesting. On Wednesday’s showing Roe Bell, Plain Rose, First Carbine nad Koklrltea should show up in the next races they are started in. The Wanganui Trotting Cup attracted only four starters, and was a most unsatisfactory race. Through a mix-up at the start Jack McKinney and Master Councillor lost their drivers, and Dandy Rose gained a big break on the favorite. First Carbine.
