Mr. F. W. G. McLeod wae a passenger by Monday night’s mail train from Wellington, and was present at the recent band contests. Advantage was taken of his extended visit South to make a i study of certain branches of his professional activities in New Plymouth, especially as regards piano action repairs, etc., in which he had the practical assistance of a prominent city expert. Mr. McLeod will resume his professional engagements as from to-day (Wednesday). He spent an enjoyable time with Henri Verbrugghen’.s 1 State orchestra, travelling with them ' and attending the concerts as far south • a? Timaru. ( The overwhelming experience of thousands testifies to the value of Nazol, as an effective cure for coughs, colds, I gore throats, etc.
