WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day:—“Present indications are for moderate to strong south-east winds, backing to northerlies in and northward of Cook Strait, with northerlies prevailing and freshening elsewhere. Dull, misty conditions at times, with scattered rain likely in the North Island, and fair to cloudy weather in the south, but. with increasing cloudiness for a change following shortly. The barometer is falling everywhere soon.”
