The suggestion. that the departure of the electric ’bus from the railway station (after the night mail train) be delayed a little in order to give time to passengers with checked luggage was made by Cr. T. N. Blackhall at ladt night’s meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council. Another point in connection with the ’bus was mentioned by Cr. W. Rumball, who said that on two davs last week the Frankley Road trip was cut out. The electrical engineer (Mr. R. H. Bartley) said this was only a coincidence, as trouble had been experienced with the ’bus on two occasions just before the Frankley trip, an* as the time could not be made up the to be cut out.
