NEW PLYMOUTH WIN A GRADE. DEFEAT OF WAVERLEY. Teams representing the New Plymouth Club and Waverley met at New Plymouth yesterday, when the visitors were defeated by 14 matches to 5. As the association has decided that no -second round will be played in the inter-club competitions, this victory gives New Plymouth the pennant for the A grade, the position of the teams now being: New Plymouth 2 wins and 0 losses; Waverley 1 win and 1 loss; Hawera 0 wins and 2 losses.
