THE PRINCE AT DELHI.
WARM WELCOME FROM NATIVES. COLLEGE OF KITCHENER’S MEMORY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 19, 5.5 p.m. Delhi, Feb. 17. Representatives of all units of the Indian Army marched past the Prince of Wales at the laying of the. foundation stone of the Kitchener College at Delhi. A non-commissioned officer and a private represented each regiment. The college, which is situated among a mass of buildings in course of erection in the new portion of Delhi, will be devoted to the education of the sons of native officers. Thousands of natives lined the route between the old and new cities and heartily welcomed the Prince. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. \ A GREAT DURBAR. Delhi, Feb. 16. The Prince of Wales was officially welcomed to India at a great Durbar in the historic hall of public audience at Delhi, attended by all the leading princes and chiefs in full dress, resplendent with jewels.
