VESSEL ASHORE.
WEST OF FAREWELL SPIT. NO DETAILS RECEIVED, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Word was received in Wellington this morning that the Valmairie, en route with hardwood cargo from Grafton, is ashore west of Farewell Spit. It is reported there is eight feet of water in the hold.
